A short-film that features Vena Energy’s 70-megawatt “Mingus” Solar Project, located in Chiayi County in Taiwan. The film explores the relationships between renewable energy, its host communities, the environment and the biodiversity that dwells within it. Set to the tone of a specially commissioned poem by a renowned local poet, the film provides a closer look at how the landscape has transformed through the eyes of the people who live there, and their hopes for the future. This film was commissioned by Vena Energy, as part of the World Energy Council’s #HumanizingEnergy campaign, and produced by BBC StoryWorks, the commercial content division of BBC Global News.
